Kiminini, Kenya
In 2007 we were approached by six women who were forming a Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation called Ordinary Women Incorporated (OWI). We managed the drilling of three water wells (boreholes) for them near Kiminini, Kenya. The first was at Deliverance Church where Shadrack Situmu is the Senior Pastor. OWI funded this borehole and LifeLift International advanced funds to drill two additional boreholes at Big Tree and Nakwangua. Both were at nearby churches being planted by Pastor Shadrack and Deliverance Church. Additionally, LifeLift handled all of OWI’s donation receipts until they were recognized as a 501(c)(3). OWI has grown dramatically through the years and conducts many heigene, finance and Biblical doctrine seminars annually for hundreds of Kenyan women. They also have established an orphanage there.
