Maai Mahiu, Kenya
Boreholes at Maai Mahiu and Suswa were jointly sponsored by Faith Community Church of Whittier, California USA and LifeLift International. This project resulted ultimately in successful drilling at the Maai Mahiu site and construction of a 750,000 liter covered water reservoir near Suswa. One of the many conditions both communities agreed to was that the Kikuyu people of Maai Mahiu and the Maasai people of Suswa would be at piece. This piece has held.
